Thermal Deburring
Internal bore intersections, cross-drilling, complex geometries. We deburr what others can't reach.
In thermal deburring (TEM), burrs are removed by a short, controlled combustion of an oxygen-fuel gas mixture in a pressurized chamber. The thermal reaction reliably oxidizes burrs, even at bore intersections, cross-drills, and hard-to-reach channels, without altering the base material.
- All burrs are reliably removed, including internal drilling intersections.
- Process-reliable and repeatable, even with bulk materials and large series
- One-stop deburring and cleaning
- Very good conditions for particle-free operation and downstream electroplating
- Short cycle times thanks to state-of-the-art plant technology
Since 2004, we have been developing and manufacturing iTEM machines for thermal deburring. At our site in Luhden, we operate three iTEM machines as well as two modern washing systems and offer comprehensive services as a contract manufacturer.
Your components will be returned deburred, cleaned, and passivated.
